About the Event

Chestnuts are a critically endangered tree, native to Connecticut with an auspicious history and tradition. We are so excited to kick off our chestnut stewardship program this summer with the support of the American Chestnut Foundation. Our Chestnut Steward Lizzy Zawy will be leading this meaningful stewardship event on Saturday, June 7th in our Helen Altschul Preserve.

Please meet us at 5PM on Dundee Road, about halfway between Forestwood Drive and Timber Mill Road. (Note that 216 Dundee Road is a private residence and we are meeting across the street.) You can reach out to Lizzy if needed.
