About the Event

Maintaining the ecological balance of our preserves requires limiting the spread of invasive plants like knotweed. This tenacious plant not only displaces our natural habitat, but also can damage riverbanks, shoreline, and even the concrete foundation of your home! Come learn about invasive plant removal and participate in stewarding Stamford's land on Saturday, May 10th with Head Steward Aubrey Carter at our Woods End Preserve.

We'll meet at Woods End Road at 10AM. In case of rain, please reach out to Aubrey.
