Join us as we welcome summer with a sunset mushroom walk! We'll start at the end of Mill Stream Road and end with a spectacular summer solstice sunset. Along the way, learn how mushrooms can help us understand the shifting seasons.

About the Event
Join us as we welcome summer with a sunset mushroom walk! We'll take an evening stroll in the Helen Altschul Preserve, ending at 8:30PM with a spectacular summer solstice sunset. As we head to the beach for long summer weekends, it is the perfect moment to appreciate the gift of our natural environs.
Head Steward and Mycologist Aubrey Carter will lead this educational walk. We can learn a lot about the shifting seasons from watching mushrooms throughout the summer months, as sunshine and rain shape their growth.
We'll meet at the end of Mill Stream Road at 5:30PM. If you arrive late to the event, please reach out to Aubrey.
